AWC Accountability / Detailed Reports
The AWC believes in transparency and is proud of our successes. From the first day the AWC accepted the responsibility of running the Las Vegas/San Miguel animal shelter to its last day running the animal shelter, we collected and reported shelter statistics and financials to the City of Las Vegas. On this page you will find reports which use the common definitions of the Asilomar Accords to participate in national shelter collecting and reporting statistics.

Shelter Animals Count Data
Shelter Animals Count is the national database providing an overview of the animal welfare landscape, while at the same time giving animal organizations the information they need to streamline and pivot operations according to the needs of their community. By collecting consistent shelter data and by collaborating with other shelters, the ability to save animals’ lives can be dramatically improved.
The AWC Pet Center has completed supplying data from September 2013 through June 2022 in the Shelter Animals Count database–graphs and more information below.
